Review of RoboCop (1987) by Richard R — 07 Dec 2014
This immensely entertaining action/satire is one of the best films of the 1980s. Ed Neumeier?'s screenplay with it's blend of sharp satire and pulpy violence perfectly complements Verhoeven's style.
It's Verhoeven's first really successful North American film, and he didn't really hit these heights again until he collaborated with Neumeier again in the 90s.
