Review of Proud Mary (2018) by David D — 19 Apr 2018
I told my wife at the end of the final scene, " I bet she shot fifty guys in that scene. "fifty? No way." So, I rewound and counted, only 28 (if you count 2 guys smashed into a brick wall with her car.).
Look, you know what you are getting here. Bullets. Bullets. Obligatory torture scene with a nail gun. Obligatory scene #2 where the villain calmly walks 15 feet forward into the face of a pointed loaded gun and then slowly takes the loaded cocked gun from the hero. More bullets. With these actors and decent action scenes they did not need to make this into a cheap 60's B-movie, so why did they try to do that?
