Review of Patton (1970) by Sophia%20 L — 30 Dec 2018
This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I've recently become quite a history fanatic, especially regarding World War 2. I'm not a big fan of the numbers, rather I like learning about the people.
The real-life individuals who made this history. This film does precisely just that. It narrates the battles as they are plotted, planned and executed through the eyes of Patton. At the film's end, I wish I could have gone through the screen and asked him for an interview.
Kudos to the actors for portraying this man's character so well. I've never admired a person more for their philosophy, it was blatantly clear that this was a man born and bred a soldier. I can't help but wonder how he would see our nation as it is today.
Maybe he did go through reincarnation, if reincarnation exists, I hope that I'll get to meet him in one life.
