Van Sant proves he's one of the best directors in hollywood today, but I really dont like to mention Hollywood and his name together because the fact is, Van Sant is anything but a hollywood director, and this film displays it.
With a terrific sense of subtle chaos, the movie grabs hold of you emotionally and never lets go. It is also shot beautifully. One of the years best and certainly a rare gem that shouldnt be missed.
