I don't really understand the dislike for this movie. This film is no less or more ridiculous than any other ghost story out there. Only this ghost story actually had some startling scenes where ghosts jump out at you.
Just like the halloween haunted houses, both are predictable but a lot of fun. This movie was a lot of fun indeed. I scoff at those who say this film was a generic horror flick. Ask yourself how many horror films are not generic after the 1970's?
