Review of Onibaba (1964) by Janine L — 28 Nov 2008
Woman killing samurai. I knew this movie was going to be off the hook. first off, the cinematography is nuts. beautiful. this is a story of primal instinct. the need to survive--the need to sustain ourselves with food becomes as important as the need to sustain ourselves with love.
when we are deprived of food AND love, the demon will start to show its face as it did here in this movie.
