Review of On the Road (2014) by Peter A — 13 Sep 2013
One of my favourite novels which is probably unfilmable but Walter Salles does a pretty good job in capturing the conflict between unfettered hedonism versus domestic responsibility. The travels and adventures of Sal Paradise (Kerouac) and his friend Dean Moriarty as they criss- cross America in search of the experiences life has to offer.
Riley and Hedlund have great chemistry together and Kirsten Dunst excels in her small but significant role. Slow burning but makes me want to read the book again.
