Review of Oliver! (1968) by Heidi L — 03 Nov 2007
Ron Moody is spectacular here... as with Reed and Wallis. The kids they got for it are phenomenal, with Jack Wild's portayal of the (cast too young) Artful Dodger nearly flawless. The music, the MUSIC! My god.
The scene durring "I'd Do Anything" when Fagin enters with a parasol and a feather in his cap has me in histerics every single time! The brilliance of the choreography actually moves me to tears.
That's one fine film.
