Review of Not Waving but Drowning (2012) by Mindalina A — 21 Jan 2015
This is a slow, uneventful film that makes you float through a pointless move to New York. None of the cast are attractive or holds your interest besides "big boy" in the beginning. Dull, boring, monotones, and has many holes.
Not to mention the God awful music as the film comes to a close. This just leaves you hanging at every scene and is pretty frustrating to watch. Where is the scene of the wreck? Where were funeral scenes? Of a follow up with the man who stays late? Why didn't we see more emotion more intricate scene of the woman's passing at the nursing home.
The photographer- you only see once... Horribly done.
