Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Nick D — 08 Feb 2009
One of the only films that has ever truly shaken me up. Theres just something about Silent films, the way their shot, to the makeup, that can be really scary. Easily the bests Vampire movie ever made. Or at least the best until Werner Hertzog's remake 60 years later of the same fucking film.
Even then Max Shreck is more overtly terrifying than any other movie version of Dracula (ops I mean Count Orlock).
