Review of Ned Kelly (2003) by Holly C — 04 May 2008
Really good movie, particually if you are interested in the history of Australia, or history in general. Good production values and a good cast (Heath Ledger, Geoffery Rush, Orlando Bloom) along with an authentic feel draw you into colonial Australia even if you don't know much about it.
Keep in mind Ned Kelly is akin to a 19th century Robin Hood, he was real, but is either romanticized or villinaized.
