Review of Mutual Appreciation (2005) by Caleb M — 27 Mar 2010
This is the kind of movie Nicolas Cage as Charlie Kaufman wanted to write in Adaptation: a film where "nothing happens". Except here, instead of literally nothing happening, we get a glimpse into the world of those too shy, quiet, inexperienced, lazy or lonely to do anything for themselves when they need to.
These characters' inaction is their action.
