Review of Munich (2005) by Frances H — 29 Jun 2014
Spielberg's angriest picture is taut, supremely intellectual, and emotionally devastating picture. Not only is the storytelling itself masterful, Spielberg deftly captures both the 1970's visual aesthetic and the zeitgeist of a 1970 Israel, (and world), with an unclear future.
An unsettling, upsetting and truly important cinematic event that transcends the limitations of celluloid.
