I recently saw "Muffin Top" with a group of my girlfriends and we guffawed out loud from start to finish. In addition to being laugh-out-loud funny, the film tells a story that resonates with any woman who has ever suffered through a bad breakup.

Ultimately, the film triumphs with a happy ending, and a very strong takeaway message -- "Love yourself now, not five pounds from now." In addition to the empowering theme woven throughout this movie, the film features a fantastic supporting cast and compelling soundtrack.

Also, Cathryn Michon, who co-wrote, produced, directed and starred in this flick, is an amazing talent. Hollywood needs to make more movies like this. It's not often that I feel like I get a good return on my investment when I pay to see a movie.
