Review of Mother Night (1996) by Tatianna M — 04 Jan 2012
I feel like Vonnegut on the page is unrivalled in voice and story-telling. I don't how if film may just not be conducive to his works, but a strict book-to-film adaptation had the story lose a bit of potency.
It wasn't uninspired acting or direction by any means, but it just came off somewhat of a lackluster cinematic experience.
