Review of Mommy (2014) by Matt B — 17 Aug 2015
Mommy is gripping, ferocious filmmaking. It's utterly sad and hard to watch, but the acting is EXCELLENT and the theme of motherhood phenomenal. The writer/director of the film, Xavier Dolan, just turned 26 this year.
26!!! And now he has the rest of his life to make even better movies. How exciting!
