Review of Medea (1969) by Wut S — 01 Dec 2010
Based on Euriphide's Medea. This is a film that requires all of your attention to watch in order to not get confused by its non-linearity. The film was exhausting to watch for it lacks creative elements that should be compensating its passiveness.
Though mythological and spiritual in its structure, the real focus on the film lies in character developments. Medea is an interesting character with changing social status in the film. Philosophical but isn't strong enough to be considered great.
