Review of Marjorie Prime (2017) by Evan J — 14 Feb 2018

This is a very hard movie to describe without spoiling so if you haven't seen it and are interested I suggest watching it without reading anything further. These are some of my favorite actors, yet this didn't work at all for me.

It's cerebral and eventually what you're left doing is thinking about it so much you can actually become disengaged with the movie. I guess it's a good thing that a movie gets you to think about it after it's over.

I still think about the AI in 'Ex Machina', but there was something missing here. It's still totally worth seeing, because it gets your mind going in a lot of directions you wouldn't have thought possible before the movie.

Stick with it, the first 30 minutes are especially slow. Final Score: 5.9/10.
