Review of Made in Britain (1983) by Scott G — 29 Feb 2008
Worth it for roths performance, his debut film, a look at youth culture in 80s britain, when thatcher and high unemployment was destroying young peoples hopes, roth is a young kid, whos turned skinhead, and although given chances to succeed by employment officers and youth offender workers, just doesent seem to care, not a thorough look at the culture of time, a brief running time, does pass time quickly, and theres no clear outcome, but it does show a interesting time, and roth really is superb here, showing a talent to watch for future ,.
