Review of Lovely Molly (2011) by Juan V — 02 Aug 2012
An incredibly disturbing and scary thriller about a woman who may be haunted by either the memories of her troubled childhood or something much more terrifying.
The performances are great, specially Gretchen Lodge's. She gives an absolutely astonishing performance that makes us fear her and care for her at the exact same time. Johnny Lewis and Alexandra Holden also give some solid performances. The direction and script are remarkably solid as well (Eduardo has matured a lot since he directed The Blair Witch Project).
Overall, if you can stomach it... definetely give it a shot.
