Review of Love, Marilyn (2013) by Johnny L — 20 Nov 2013
Behind that million dollar smile was a life of pain and sadness. All she truly wanted was to become a good actress, and took on the training and hardships to become one. Despite her popularity, her career was riddled with roles that lacked depth and at best was the âsilly blondeâ? in many of her films.
Interesting to note she could never command a salary as sizeable as her contemporary at the time, Elizabeth Taylor. At its peak Monroeâ(TM)s 100k to Taylorâ(TM)s $1M.
