Review of Love (2011) by Natalie B — 29 Jan 2013
Gunner and the film are visually stunning. The music and acting is great, but I'm confused. Unfortunately, it's not a walk-away-and-contemplate-the-meaning-of-life feeling. I am confused, but ambiguous.
The film is not thought provoking, more thought preventing. This movie may have been just as effective if it was a musical without dialogue and narration. Perhaps, it may have even been better as a silent film.
Yeah, now that's thought provoking.
