Review of Lord of Tears (2013) by Brian K — 15 Aug 2014

This movie felt very different from a horror movie, even though it had its goth and creepy elements. But somehow it was more of a dramatic movie with a darker atmosphere. Also, the look of the movie was of an independent film although there were some scenes and landscapes that looked really good. Moreover, the acting was kind of a mixed bag, I wasn't completely sold with it but somehow it felt adequate in the more romantic scenes instead of the ones that were supposed to be scary. I'm completely sure this movie should have a lower rating, but there was something about the characters and their relationship, that really was outstanding and really resonated until the end. Also it was very nostalgic in the end.
