Review of Lon Chaney: A Thousand Faces (2000) by Joel A — 31 Jan 2014
A terrific Doco sharing the incredible range of roles that the infamous man of a thousand faces Lon Chaney Snr played.
The doco starts with his childhood with deaf & mute parents & his incredible dedication physically he would put in for his very demanding roles. It was amazing not only what he could do with make up but the talent he had for picking excellent productions.
There are still 2 of his feature films that are lost & would be great to see but sadly not long after the sound era he passed away in 1930...a well told compelling documentary.
