Review of Little Murders (1971) by Ryan M — 21 Feb 2009
"Are you really so down on people, or are you just being fashionable?" Calling this a bit too cynical is kind of an ineffectual criticism, since it tries so hard to be just that. But this is both deeply funny and almost equally upsetting.
Donald Sutherland's brief part in this film as an extremely permissive minister is not only one of the best monologue performances I can think of, it's probably one of my favorite wedding scenes too.
