Review of L'Eclisse (1962) by Admiral J — 30 Jul 2007
With the passing of Michelangelo Antonioni, I felt the need to say something about this film, as well. Mysterious, haunting, stylish and beautiful. Vitti's best performance in this loose trilogy. The themes of alienation and materialism are thought-provoking and stick with you.
It's a shame that we lost Antonioni and Bergman within the same day. Rest in peace.
