Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Christopher B — 17 Feb 2018
A coming of age story is nothing new in films, but I don't think I have seen it done so flawlessly like I did with 'Lady Bird.' The manner in which Greda Gerwig strings together the film's "flipbook of moments" is stupendously entertaining and beautiful, with a biting sense of humor and pitch-perfect performances.
It's in the same vein as 'Boyhood' but less sprawling, funnier and surprisingly more relatable!
