Review of Kundun (1997) by Rob M — 28 Aug 2007
"Kundun" is Martin Scorsese's most underrated film by far. A re-telling of the life of the 14th Dalai Lama. From his birth in a small vilage to his growing up as the savior of Tibet, his relationship with Heinrich Harrer to his subsequent exile to India after the PRC attacked and took over in World War II.
An amazing epic that will bring you closer to a culture that has nearly been forgotten.
