Review of Kundun (1997) by Yani D — 01 Dec 2007
A simply amazing film about the life of the 14th (current) Dalai Lama. Covers his childhood to the Chinese occupation of Tibet, and finally to his flight to Dharamsala in India, where he currently resides in exile.
The cinematography and music are stunning, however the beautiful story means the movie does not lean on these to make it a great film.
