Review of Kundun (1997) by Nannerpuss G — 04 Feb 2008
This is a movie that is close to my heart, as a student of tibetan buddhist studies I have a profound love of tibetan culture, this film gives a good perspective. Great background on the early days of the 14th Dalai Lama, and his struggles with embracing modern thought, and liberating his people from a terrible threat. Must see. Very touching, spiritually uplifting film.
Om mani padme hum, long live His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, om tadyata gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svha...FREE TIBET!!!!
