Review of Ktown Cowboys (2015) by Kyle J — 13 Apr 2016
Hilarious film - especially if you can relate!
Loved this movie. Saw it in theaters. It has some unforgettable scenes and several of the characters really stand out, especially Peter Jae's character and CEO's daughter. I used to live in Ktown, and every now and then would chill with folks like the ones in this movie. It aims at breaking down stereotypes, allowing insight into a community some might call exclusive, and also tackles some beefs that Korean Americans have with racism. It's an important film in that they're are so few Asian-American films these days & I hope we can support them!
