As a film and a documentary, Kings of Pastry just doesn't hold up. It's certainly interesting to learn about the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France competition, but it doesn't merit a whole film.
As an edited down special for an hour slot on the Food Network (it felt like a piece shot to be shown there, but a bit long), this'd be great. But as a film, it wasn't the greatest.
