Review of King of California (2007) by Lilly G — 24 Mar 2009

This is probably my favourite Michael Douglas performance to date, and the always delightful Evan Rachel Wood is on the top of her game as well. This is a very funny, unique, and well told twist on somewhat of a familiar tale.

While at times the film feels a bit predictable, and some stale voice over narration soils the odd scene, I really enjoyed this movie. One of Sundance's most underrated I think.
