An intelligent whodunnit thriller based in heart of Kolkata, thereby entertaining audiences as well as informing them about this Indian metropolitan city. I like how the filmmaker has managed to weave in the theme of when sinning gets too much, a woman is sent to clean up the act. Indeed, from Goddess Durga killing Mahishasur to our mums cleaning up the mess we make, to us wives tidying up after our husbands, this theme does ring true on so many levels! :).
Excellent performance by Vidya Balan- a must-see for her fans!
