Review of Jojo Rabbit (2019) by Beathour — 21 Feb 2020

Great sentimentality and very amusing at times, Jojo Rabbit is a period piece that isn't afraid of offending America's vocal alt-right and alt-left lunatic elements. Everyone of my friends from a diverse spectrum has enjoy this movie; there's a little something for everyone here. I got to the end wishing it was another hour longer.

Its humor comes mostly from great timing rather than perfectly set up jokes. The twists are almost predictable, and yet, I couldn't guess exactly. These aren't quite detracting features, but the movie could have been even more perfect, in my opinion. Still, it's unique and challenging.
