Great adaptation of an amazing book. Billy Crudup gives his best performance as a struggling junky who stumbles through life encountering various weirdos. The supporting cast are brilliant, plus an early peformance from Jack Black as a very stoned ER orderly.
Funny, touching and bizarre.
