Review of Into the Night (1985) by Jon T — 07 Jun 2009
The film feels as lethargic as Jeff Goldblum's insomniac character. The events have a steady meandering pace, even action scenes. This isn't a very bad thing, but it also wouldn't be my first choice as a filmmaker.
The plot is a little convoluted and not everything is explained, but that's okay. Unfortunately, Jeff Goldblum doesn't feel particularly Jeff Goldblumy here, which is what I had hoped to see. Over all a relatively engaging film with some funny bits and some exciting bits, but nothing too spectacular.
