I don't understand how some people do not get this film. Phoenix is brilliant, using the world as his platform, and allowing Hollywood to show itself in a negative light, and how it can treat an individual.
You either rise to the top and evaporate, or be yourself, fall to the bottom and sink. Great piece of cinema!
