I love crime/courtroom dramas and this one scores way up there with a fantastic film all around. Susan Hayward was exceptionally strong and well deserves her Oscar for her work here.
Stylish and a classic noir just smoldering with great lighting and slick acting without being too affected, this is a great film to watch for anyone interested in seeing a terrific performance of a woman fighting for her life.
