The movie is pretty much about some women who have been put in a really rough place in life, and they're willing to go up against their friends and neighbors for the hope of a better life. It dealt with a lot more issues than I expected, and had a more serious tone, but it was inspirational, and in parts, especially the ending, beautiful.
It''s also a true story.
