Not perfect, but not terrible as they say. Gory, funny and dark, just how an Hellboy movie should be. The plot it's a bit messy, too much stuff and storylines. Visual effects are mediocre, but the pratical ones are pretty cool.
Hellboy's make up is fantastic, beastly, rude and so damn realistic.
