Review of Gunday (2014) by Ahmed M — 24 Jun 2015
A touching bromance about two lifelong friends.
Gun day sounds fun. A day of guns, that's gotta be awesome! Well, it's pronounced goon day and it means outlaws. Outlaws starts well with two war orphans doing whatever they can to get food. It eventually gets into the masala requisite: love story and music videos. Colorful, well directed, great slow-mo, and too long. Chopra is gorgeous and dressed less conservatively than in most Bollywood films.
C'mon guy, never leave witnesses, you should know that.
