Review of Great Expectations (2012) by Ted W — 28 May 2014
A very decent film adaptation of my favorite Dickens novel. Ralph Fiennes was a standout, however the adult Pip was a bit too stupid for my taste. The death of Miss Havisham was far more graphic and less frightening than any I've seen yet.
For anyone attempting their first film of this great story, please try the superb 1946 version.
