Everything about this movie screams 'independent feature.' But often times, it's the indie's that are the jewel's and far more worth checking out whatever's playing at the multiplex that week.
I love movies like this. No CGI, no special effects, no sprawling budgets or big stars. No need for any of that. Just a sad, simple story told with skill and fantastically naturalistic performances.
In this story, one man wants to die, another man wants to save him. That's about it. It asks questions it doesn't answer directly, but I think it still answer's them clearly in a different way. It answer's them without answering them. It requires you to read between the lines, so to speak.
Anyway, I loved this movie. I was engaged and entertained and touched by it all the way through. Check this out.
