Review of From Within (2008) by Lindsay L — 16 Jun 2009
A rash of suicides in a small religious town is blamed on the local godless family. But is there more to the deaths than meets the eye, and how will our heroine stay alive. A good idea is let down by a slightly pat reason for the deaths, but the director builds a nicely claustrophobic atmosphere and has the nerve to give his film a dark ending.
