Review of For the Love of Benji (1977) by Sarah-Tess Leizel B — 28 Feb 2008
The Benji films seem really lame compared to the execution of animal films like Annaud's The Bear... still, I give this one mention because the drugging and marking scene at the beginning of the film is pretty damn twisted for a "G" rated movie.
.. and although the Greek cinema markets might appreciate it, it makes me wonder what American kids though of the lion's share of this film taking place within the culture and spoken language of Athens?
