Review of Fay Grim (2007) by Andy H — 30 Jun 2007
Undestated but funny. Parker Posey's subtle rendition of an ordinary housewife still preoccupied with the mundane (e.g. whether men think she's pretty), though pushed into a world of intrigue that is far from ordinary, excels.
Never seen a Hal Hartley film before, but this film, where the decent feelings of flawed every-day people draws our interest far more than the espionage intrigue, has sold me on this director.
