Review of Factotum (2005) by Scott H — 05 Jun 2007
Matt Dillon is at his underrated best in this Bukowski-adaptation. It's deadpan humour throughout which accompanies Dillon's alcoholic loser without a cause as we cruise through an underbelly of dingy taverns, deadend jobs and depraved sexual relations.
Perhaps not as hard-edged as true Bukowski, but it's got everything else.
