Review of Explorers (1985) by Brandon S — 18 Jul 2009
Imaginative, unadulterated child-like whimsy and fun. You can't help but be swept up by the story, the main characters, the brilliant Jerry Goldsmith score and their quest to pursue adventure, and discover something bigger than themselves.
Though each seems to have their enthusiasm for the endeavor motivated by something different, they come together to achieve things the likes of which children only dream of. If you've forgotten what being a kid feels like pop in 'Explorers' and prepare to be transported to a world of fun beyond our stars.
