Just brilliant. Gus makes a portrait of a small town in which everything that happens is the boring type of things that happen in small towns. I'm from a small town and I totally relate with the dialogs in the movie and I can tell you that small towns have the potential of fabricating this kind of attitud in teens.
Homosexuality is hardly ever tolerated and is even harder to be accepted and teens really don't have many activities to enrich their spirits.
